Tying new structure into an existing house, including the roofline, the foundation, and matching the exterior.

Detached buildings for cottage properties and shops, permitted and built to code.
Interior finishing
Insulation, drywall, flooring including epoxy, trim, and the full interior so you get a finished building, not a shell.
Our work
The Cape Chin cabin, built from nothing
This two storey building on the Bruce Peninsula was ours from the first shovel. Radiant loops went down in the fall and the slab was poured before the ground froze.
Framing carried on through the snow. The cathedral rafters went up over the winter, the board and batten and metal roof closed it in, and the decks and screened porch came in the spring.
It is the clearest answer we have to the question of whether we can handle a full build. We did not manage this one. We built it.

Do you need a permit for buildings & additions in Muskoka?
Permits are issued by your local Muskoka municipality, and whether you need one depends on the scope. Structural changes, new plumbing, and new circuits almost always require one. We confirm the requirement for your address and handle the application and inspections as part of the job.
How far into Muskoka do you travel?
All of it, including Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Huntsville, Port Carling. Muskoka is inside our normal working area, so you are not paying for a special trip.
Do you build the whole thing or subcontract it out?
Our crew does the foundation prep, framing, exterior, and interior finishing. Licensed trades handle electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, and we coordinate and stay on site while they work.
Do I need a permit for an addition or a detached building?
Almost always. Additions, garages, and cabins over a small size all require permits, and rural and shoreline properties can also involve conservation authority approval. We work through that with you.
Can you build in cottage country and on rural properties?
Yes. We have built on the Bruce Peninsula and regularly work in the Collingwood, Mono, and Muskoka areas.
Can you build in the winter?
Yes. We framed the Cape Chin cabin through a Bruce Peninsula winter. Concrete work is more weather-dependent and we schedule it accordingly.
