A copper soaking tub on hand-finished stumps
This one was not out of a catalogue. The homeowners had a copper soaking tub and wanted it to feel like it belonged in the room rather than parked in it.
We finished the stumps it rests on, tiled the floor in large-format stone, and built the slate fireplace surround in the adjoining room with live-edge timber legs to tie the two spaces together.

Yes. Electric in-floor heat under tile is straightforward to add during a renovation and it is much cheaper to do then than later.
Will my bathroom be out of service the whole time?
That bathroom will be, yes. If it is your only bathroom, tell us at the quote stage and we will sequence the work to shorten the gap as much as possible.
